On May 25th, a seminar for young people took place at “Lapegles”, Lēdmane Parish, Ogre Municipality.
The event focused on the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ and showcased the technological possibilities of 3D printing through an exhibition of presentation materials.
Each participant had the chance to try out activities organized by the association “Active Recreation Center for Youth” and received a 3D-printed reward. One of the tasks involved assembling a 3D-printed puzzle, which told the story of the steps a young person needs to take to participate in an Erasmus+ project.
Many parents joined the conversations and also tried assembling the puzzle, as it’s often the parents who influence whether a young person finds the courage to take part. Learning about Erasmus+ and 3D technologies sparked great interest and motivation among both parents and youth.
Each participant and parent also had an individual conversation, where questions like “What does participant selection mean?” and “How long does it take to design and print 3D objects or puzzles?” were discussed in detail.
A big thank you to the association for their support, and sincere gratitude to Erasmus+ for making this possible.
